Why Northwest crews standardize on Carhartt
The label crews respect
Hand a crew member a generic jacket and it lives in the truck. Hand them Carhartt with the company logo stitched on the chest and it gets worn on the clock, off the clock, and into next season. Retention gear only works if people want it.
Built for this weather
Rain Defender fleece sheds our nine months of drizzle. Storm Defender shells are genuinely waterproof. Duck canvas shrugs off job-site abuse. Carhartt's lines map almost perfectly onto a Puget Sound work year — it's why we sell so much of it.
One order fits everyone
Tall cuts of the core jackets, hoodies, and tees. A real women's line — not shrunken men's sizes. When the whole crew gets gear that fits, the program sticks. We stock the talls and women's styles alongside every order.

How we decorate Carhartt
Embroidery (the standard)
A left-chest embroidered logo with employee names opposite is the classic Carhartt treatment — we digitize your artwork in-house so the stitching sits right on duck canvas, fleece, and soft shells alike. It outlasts the jacket's first owner.
Printed safety stripes
Our signature: silver diamond-plate and hi-vis stripes printed across the front, back, and sleeves — the CT100617 Paxton is the piece we stripe most. See the lineup in our safety-gear top sellers post. Jobs that require certified hi-vis get rated ANSI garments instead, decorated without touching the certification.
Caps & patches
Carhartt caps and beanies take tight embroidery or a stitched leatherette patch — the full workwear look. And once the gear is in the field, Carhartt's own duck canvas breaks in beautifully; here's a good guide on breaking in a Carhartt jacket from our sister site.
How a Carhartt program works
- Send your logo and a rough headcount through the quote form — takes two minutes.
- We quote it same-day with real decorated pricing, talls and women's cuts included.
- You approve a stitched proof before anything goes to production.
- Gear ships or gets picked up — typically about two weeks from proof approval, rush available.
No hard minimum — we decorate single pieces regularly (very small orders carry a small-batch fee, always quoted up front). Reorders keep your logo on file, so round two is one email.
Custom Carhartt FAQ
- Can you embroider Carhartt jackets and hoodies?
- Yes — Carhartt is the most-embroidered brand line in our shop. A left-chest company logo is the standard treatment, with employee names opposite. Duck canvas, fleece, and soft shells all embroider cleanly, and we digitize your logo in-house so the stitching suits each fabric.
- Do you carry tall sizes and women's Carhartt?
- Yes. We stock the tall cuts of the core line (Detroit jacket, Duck Active Jacs, hoodies, pocket tees) and the women's line including the Clarksburg hoodie and women's Gilliam jacket and vest — so one order fits the whole crew properly.
- Is there a minimum order?
- No hard minimum — we decorate single pieces regularly. Very small orders carry a small-batch fee that's quoted up front, and pricing improves at crew quantities. Every quote shows the real number before anything goes to production.
- Can you put safety stripes on Carhartt?
- Yes — printed high-visibility stripes are one of our signatures, and the Rain Defender Paxton zip mock (CT100617) is the piece we stripe most. For jobs that require certified ANSI hi-vis, we stock rated Class 2 and Class 3 garments and decorate them without touching the certification.
- How long does an order take?
- Typically about two weeks from proof approval, with rush options available. You always see and approve a proof before production starts.
